What you'll find when you attend Capstone is a diverse community where people seek to know and love Jesus, live in community with others, and show compassion to our neighbors, city and world. We are young, old, rich, poor and everything in between. But more basic than that, we are sinners saved by grace and welcomed into the Kingdom of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Some of us are just checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been in church our whole lives. All are welcome.

Perfect! We exist for those not here yet! Our gatherings are a safe place for those who are curious about God but have never felt comfortable in church. We want Capstone to be a place where you can learn, apply and wrestle with who God is and what He wants for you. It's okay if you don't have it all figured out yet or feel like you don't have it all together. Sometimes we say that Capstone is "the perfect church for imperfect people." Again, all are welcome.

Each service lasts for approximately 60-75 minutes.

Capstone is a family-friendly place! We provide free, safe environments for newborns up to children in the fifth grade. Infants and toddlers are cared for by screened volunteers, and two year olds through fifth grade are taught simple Bible truths through engaging activities. You are welcome to wear whatever you'd like. There is no set dress code, although, for the most part, the attire is more on the casual side. Just be you. Come as you are.

No. We do not ask visitors to stand and be recognized, give a testimony, come to the front, or anything like that.

No. We have a brief offering time every week but you are certainly not expected to give (though you are welcome to). Giving is something for members and regular attenders, or those who have joined in the mission of Capstone.

We preach the Bible, mostly verse-by-verse and book-by-book. We believe that you’ll find, in the pages of the Bible, a more gripping story and a more satisfying explanation and solution to the troubles of life than the false promise of self-help styled lectures. We've also found that preaching this way keeps us from avoiding hard topics and increases our trust in God's Word to transform lives. Need more info? You can listen to some of our sermons here.

We really don't like labels... But we've always been blessed to have gifted musicians and creatives in our midst, so we reach out to those folks and invite them to do what they do best. From week to week, our bands include elements of rock, pop, bluegrass, folk, americana and other styles. We write some of our own songs, and we also play arrangements of classic hymns and modern worship songs. No matter the style, we try to sing songs that are more about what God has done for us through Jesus and less about what we must do. You can listen to some of the songs we sing here.
